How do I get my daily calorie target?

Complete your Profile. You can use the calculated estimate based on your details, activity and goal, or enter a custom target.

Where do foods come from?

You can create custom foods or search USDA FoodData Central. Nutrition for USDA results is resolved by the server before a food is logged. Check any value that matters to you because external and user-entered data can contain mistakes.

What are portions?

Portions let you save familiar amounts such as a slice or bowl against a custom food. You can still log an exact mass or volume whenever you prefer.

Will editing a food change old Diary entries?

No. Diary entries snapshot the food name, serving basis, nutrition and portion description used when you logged them, so your history remains intact if the original food changes later.

How do themes and Capy customisation work?

Open Customise Capy to equip owned cosmetics and choose Light, Dark or System theme. Signed-in theme choices are saved to your profile; signed-out choices use this browser.

What if I cannot confirm my email or sign in?

Use Resend email confirmation or reset your password. If you use two-factor authentication and cannot access your authenticator, use one of your saved recovery codes.

Are calorie and nutrition figures medical advice?

No. Calorie, TDEE and nutrition figures are estimates for general information and tracking. Food values may come from your input or an external data source and may be inaccurate. Do not rely on the app as medical advice. If you have medical or specialised dietary needs—including pregnancy, an eating disorder, or a condition affected by nutrition—seek advice from an appropriately qualified professional.
