How Comfy Capy Calories uses and protects your information.

Information linked to your account

We store the account details you provide, including your username, first name and email address, along with the security information ASP.NET Core Identity needs for sign-in, email confirmation, password resets and optional authenticator-app two-factor authentication.

If you complete your profile, we also store the details used to calculate your estimates: date of birth, height, weight, calculation sex, activity level, goal, optional goal weight and weekly goal, measurement preference, calorie-target preference and theme preference.

Food, Diary and Capy data

Your custom foods, saved portions, favourites and Diary entries are linked to your account. Diary entries keep a snapshot of the food and nutrition information that applied when you logged them so later edits do not rewrite your history. Your Comfy Capy inventory and equipped appearance are also stored with your account.

Foods retrieved from USDA FoodData Central may be cached locally for reuse. Cached USDA food records are shared reference data; your favourites and Diary use remain account-specific.

Cookies and outside services

The application uses technically necessary cookies for sign-in, session security and request protection. It does not add advertising or analytics tracking. USDA FoodData Central processes food searches, and the configured email provider processes transactional account email and feedback delivery.

Anonymous feedback

Feedback can be sent while signed in or signed out. The feedback form does not ask for account details, but you should not include personal or sensitive information in your message.

Your choices

Account settings let you download the personal account data exposed by ASP.NET Core Identity or permanently delete your account. If you have a privacy question that is not answered here, please use the Feedback page without including sensitive information.
